Visual concept for a second-hand brand XYZ made as a preliminary assignment for Reaktor Design Trainee job application.
Description of the brand:
XYZ is a well-known Nordic design brand and manufacturer, focusing on everyday luxury items such as textiles, kitchenware and small furniture.
Their success factors are timeless design, high quality materials and sustainability. On their way to transitioning towards a more circular economy, XYZ aims to open a peer-to-peer second-hand web store for their products.
XYZ products' value in the second-hand market is often quite high. Buyers look specifically for this brand, and XYZ has recognised an opportunity to make a profit through the second-hand store.
My objective in designing this website was to convey a sense of luxury and premium quality, to give the customer the feeling of trust when buying a second-hand items. To emphasize the key information and ensure visual clarity, I opted for a minimalistic layout and subdued colors.
