School project - redesign any mobile application.
I decided to undertake a redesign of an app called “E-klase,” which is primarily geared towards students and teachers for keeping track of homework, school timetables, and other related school tasks.
Due to the ongoing pandemic and the subsequent shift to remote learning, I found myself relying on E-klase more frequently and identified certain aspects of its design that could benefit from an upgrade.
For my redesign, I opted for a more minimalist layout with enhanced color contrast. My primary objective was to ensure that the most important information, such as grades, timetable, upcoming homework, and school news, is prominently displayed on the initial landing page. Additionally, I revamped the mail section by organizing it by subjects, rather than simply by teacher names. In my experience with the current app design, it can be quite cumbersome to find the information I need, which I sought to address in my redesign.
